Welcome to the Sotally Tober kickball blog.
Whenever we try to send out information to a large group of people by email, the first 5 replies are always something like, "please remove me from this list", or "this is my work address so keep it clean", so in 2005, our brave leader, Cap'n Teen established the Sotally Tober Blog.
This site is where we will communicate important game and league information, talk trash, chit chat, and in general do most of our Sotally Tober business.
Some of you may have black belts in blogging and some of you may be looking at your first blog ever right now. So that we are all on one page I want to let you know about some of the conventions that we will use.
The way that we will use this forum will be that there will be a post and comments. The post is composed by an authorized author and will be the main source of information for the day. Under the post there is a place for comments. That is the space for all questions, comments, witty banter, chit chat and mindless ramblings. This serves to replace the "Reply All" email trains that can sometimes be huge and annoying.
In general, there will be a post on Monday about the game coming up on Tuesday. A post on Tuesday about that evening's game and that will be where we will try to keep track of who can make it each week and who can not. Then there will be a Wednesday post to recount the activities from the game and the bar the night before. There might be more fun and freestyle posts on Thursday and Friday, talking about whatever. By that time, you'll be hooked and you'll need your fix of this anywise.
When you come to the site to view what's going on, you should always look to the most recent post. That is where the action will be. You are welcome to look back at past posts, but new comments should all be made to the recent one so that it doesn't get confusing.
Cap'n Sunshine will begin as the sole poster and will take care of the Monday - Wednesday posts. If there's any interest, new authors can be authorized for Thursday and Friday freestyle posts.
Hopefully this all works out and we will have a grand time both on and off the field, and now in cyberspace.

Itis reccomended that you do not use your real name while blogging because sometimes google can pick up your comments. I work in HR and I have heard more than once about how blogging activity has effected people's candidacy for a job and their employment as well. So for my blog name I have gone with Heliocentric. Who will you become?
